Watercolor Bowl with Judy Shumway
Date: Tuesday, August 9th 1:00 - 5:00 PM
Location: Classroom 2
In this class you will make an 8” bowl using squares of glass the make it look like it was painted with watercolors.
You will cut squares of glass to achieve the depth of color you want which can range from pastel to bold. It will then be fired flat.
You will take the piece home flat and either cut it with your saw to make it perfectly round or you will simply slump it. With the irregular edges a CPI slurry flower mold works well.
