Doodle art with Sharon Carothers
Date: Sunday, August 7th 9:00 - 5:00
Location: Classroom 2
This popular art form, known by many names, is a great way to draw (pun intended) people into the glass studio. At Prism we taught this class about every 6 weeks or so, and usually had 6 or more attendees. Your market area, and studio classroom area, will determine class size and pricing. The great thing is that the cost for materials can be minimal, yet the students end up producing art that they are proud of. Many times, people came into a class saying, “I could never do that!” and walked out saying, “I can’t believe I did that.”
We will go over the basic processes, instructor tips and tricks, optional materials, and styles of doodling. We will also discuss popular trademarked methods, publications, and opportunities for translating these styles on glass projects.
