Glass weaving is a popular trend in kiln forming today. Join us to explore the ins and outs of this fun process.

Pre-made molds are an easy way to produce your weft, but we'll cover the way to create the components needed to weave sheet glass with materials you have on hand in the classroom. By making your own molds you'll have total control over the spacing, thickness and the size of your raw components. During class you'll assemble a small, one-time-use mold, for use in your own studio.

Assembling your woven panel and ways to fire and slump the final piece in one firing will be discussed.

Detailed handouts with supply lists, assembly instructions, and firing schedules will be provided.

Please bring a stright edged metal ruler, exacto knife with new blades, glass cutting tools, N95 mask, and rubber gloves.

All other supplies are included for use in the class.
