Basic Wire wrapping techniques for fused glass jewelry. Hands on instructions will be given for a caged pendent, wire bails, and single and twisted wire wraps. Other jewelry techniques will be discussed.

 

Bonnie Wentz

Bonnie became involved in the art glass industry in the late 1970's. She opened her retail store, Wentz Stained Glass Studio, in Gettysburg, Pa. in 1982.
When she began teaching fused glass jewelry, she discovered that her students were searching for techniques to embellish their pendants. She encourages her students to be creative by using not only silver wire but also coated colored wire and beads.
