Beginning Glass Working/Making Paperweights

Class will be taught by a Wheaton staff member
Instructors are highly experienced house staff who run the "Make Your Own Paperweight" program at Wheaton Arts.

With the expert guidance of one of our master glass artists, you will shape molten glass into a beautiful paperweight. Take advantage of this exciting opportunity to create your own work of art.

A one-day intensive hot glass workshop, specifically for beginners. Instructor will individually go over the basics of the process of hot glassworking with each student. The goal of completing a paperweight design of their choosing. Although a one day course does not provide enough time for the student to work entirely solo, the instructors will fully help guide each student with completing their own paperweight which they will take home the day after the workshop. The class will consist of a general presentation and then a hands on with each student. The individual instruction will last approximately one hour.
