Intermediate Beadmaking Come learn to make complex cane like Latticino and pleated beads. These more intricate styles can add sophistication and depth to your work. We will explore how to draw various reactions using both Roccio and Double Helix's popular silver saturated glasses. My customers keep thinking that the beads are boro with one technique I use with this glass. While we explore those glasses we might as well add learning to apply the pure silver wire in our beads. Do you have trouble with dichroic burn out or scumming? In this class I will show you ways to avoid these problems and jazz up your sparkle factor.

| I have owned and operated Kiss My Glass in Santa Cruz, Ca for 25 years. I do commission work and teach and sell tons of supplies. About ten years ago I took a bead class with Molly Heynis who studied with Cindy Jenkins and my life has never been the same since. I love stained glass but I am obsessed with beadmaking. I started out on a hot head which I still teach on for beginning classes. My current favorite torch is a mini cc with an oxygen concentrator although I still keep oxygen for boro work. Every year I take classes with world renowned beadmakers like Jennifer Geldard and Tom and Sage Holland to learn more and better my skills. |
