BEGINNING BEADMAKING
We have a small and wonderful studio here now and are offering small classes in working on hot head torches. You will learn basic shapes of round, cylinder, square, bicone, triangle and lollipop. We will play with frits and millifiore too. This class may be taken if you are looking for help with a specific intermediate skill or problem area- since the classes are small I will have time to help you.
Friday night play time 5:30 to 9:30, June15th,August 10th,October 5th

MARATHON BEADMAKING -ALL DAY PLAY DAY!
At kiss my glass [hothead] Are you ready to take your bead making to the next level? Do you want a day to play and pump up your bead levels. Is there an area of problem for you that you want to improve? All kinds of techniques can be explored , specifically complex cane making, pod making, off mandrel Fiesta skirts and more. Jackie will be fresh back from the Gathering and so will have something new and so far unknown to share. Be the first to find out about it. This class will not start at the beginning and so is not suitable for first timers. Students should bring a lunch for a 1 hour lunch break.

FINALLY BEADMAKING ON OXYGEN PROPANE TORCHES
I will have mini cc torches, a minor burner, oxygen concentrators, and tanked oxygen. This class will be taught in a rotating student manner so all can try out the different options. This class will be taught as a beginner class with focus on shaping and form. We will work on the round, cone, lollipop focals and stringer control. Of course we will add some fun stuff to that like frit exploration, color mixing and achieving reduction effects.
SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 8TH 9:00 TO 4:30 WITH AN HOUR BREAK FOR LUNCH. $175.00 INCLUDES ALL MATERIALS.

Beginning Stained Glass
October 8th to 29th

Four Monday nights 6:30 to 9:00 --$85.00 to $94.00 plus materials and tools [early bird discount’s apply].
Have you always wanted to learn how to make stained glass? You will learn how to cut, fit, solder and apply finishing treatments as you complete a panel approximately 12” x 18” in class. These same techniques can later be applied to sidelights, cabinets and many other possible pieces. Students will be taught to work with glass and lead safely.
The instructor provides some materials and tools, but each student will need his/ her own project materials which will cost $100-300, depending on which tools and project you choose. Tools and materials can be shared. A materials list will be mailed upon registration.

Beginning and Intermediate Stained Glass

Expand whatever level stained glass skills you currently have in this fun class.
Beginners will follow a beginner’s outline and intermediate level students may choose a more complex pattern or piece such as box making or lead projects. Class commitment can help you get to that project you have been meaning to complete.
Some tools will be available for student use such as grinders, light boxes and saws, however each student will need his/her own hand tools and project materials. A materials list will be mailed upon registration.

Fusing Classes at Kiss My Glass
Friday June 29 OR  Friday September 28th: 6- 8:30 pm $55.00 materials included
Cabochons: Learn the basics of fusing and make beautiful cabochons and dichroic jewelry pieces. Cabochons are great for wire wrapping, hanging, silver clay, or just use them for refrigerator magnets. Sign up at store or by phone 831-462-3077 or email for more information: kmgjackie@aol.com

Friday July 13 OR Friday October 26th: 6- 8:30  $55.00 materials included
Sun Catchers: Create fused glass sun-catchers to brighten your windows. Basic fusing and glass cutting techniques will be covered in this class.

Friday August 31 OR Friday November 9th: 6- 8:30 pm $55.00 materials included (additional materials may be purchased, but are not mandatory)
Plates\ Coasters: Make a plate or small coasters using different decorating techniques like stringers, frits and layering. Pieces can be slumped into a variety of molds for an additional firing fee.

Friday September 14 OR Friday December 7th : 6- 8:30 pm $55.00 materials included
Inclusions: In this fusing class we will play with different materials that can be sandwiched in between layers of glass to create interesting effects. We will experiment with metal mesh and foils to create pieces that will leave people asking “how did you do that!?”

All classes will introduce you to basic fusing and glass cutting techniques. Learn how easy it is to use Spectrum System 96 glass. Then continue making projects at home and bring them in for us to fire for you.

Classes are limited to 7 people for the most personalized attention. 

Save 10% when you sign up for all four classes at the same time for $200.00.

Classes will be repeated throughout the year or private lessons are available for $55.00 an hour.

Private parties can be arranged for up to 6 people.
